The Edo Tokyo Museum is probably one of the most massive building in Tokyo. If you are interested in modern architecture, although the museum was founded in 1993 to preserve and host collections regarding the Edo-Tokyo period, this building designed by Kikutake architects will probably impress you with its "SF space ship" design...

Harajuku, just north of Shibuya ward (Shibuya-ku), became famous in the 1990's due to the large numbers of street performers and wildly dressed teens who gathered there on Sunday when the streets were closed to traffic. Punk style, visual kei, rockabilly dancers, performers and cosplay (costume player) meet on Sundays near the Yoyogi and Meiji Shrine Park entrances offering a firework of colors and styles.
